Philippians 1:3–5 (CSB)

I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you, always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.

God made people to love each other and work together. He gives us friends, family, teachers, and church helpers who make our lives better. When we thank God for them, it reminds us how loved we really are.

Being thankful for people helps us see how big God’s love is. Every person He puts in our lives is a gift we can learn from and care for.

Discussion:

Who are some people you’re thankful for right now? Why?

Activity:

Make or write one simple thank-you note tonight to a teacher, friend, or family member and deliver it.

Prayer:

God, thank You for the people You’ve placed in our lives. Help us show kindness and appreciation the way You show love to us. Amen.
