Day 6 (Family Version)

John 15:2 (CSB)

Every branch in me that does not produce fruit he removes, and he prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit.

Growth rarely feels comfortable. When God prunes something out of our lives, it can sting, but it’s His way of making space for something better. Gratitude helps us trust His hand even when His work feels sharp.

If we’re being pruned, it means we’re still connected to Him. Thankfulness in those moments keeps us grounded, reminding us that God’s goal isn’t our comfort, it’s our fruitfulness.

Journal Prompts

- What area of your life feels like a pruning season right now?

- How might you thank God for His work even when it’s uncomfortable?

Prayer

Father, thank You for caring enough to shape me. Help me see pruning as preparation for fruitfulness. Amen.
