Day 5 (Adult Version)
2 Corinthians 9:7–8 (CSB)
Each person should do as he has decided in his heart—not reluctantly or out of compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.
Generosity is gratitude in motion. Every time we give (our time, attention, or resources) we remind our hearts that everything we have already came from God. He doesn’t expect perfection; He delights in hearts that give cheerfully because they trust His supply.
When we hold things loosely, we see that God’s abundance never runs out. Giving doesn’t empty us, it frees us. Gratitude grows best in open hands.
